We’ve supervised and licensed music for TV adverts, brand films, documentaries, videos, games and more, and during that time we’ve developed Our 5 Step Licensing Process™.
Our 5 Step Licensing Process™ provides a clear working framework for the music licensing process, from start to finish of your project.
Our 5 Steps licensing process™ is an all inclusive price that includes music (with unlimited editing, reworks, alterations, re-mixes, mixdowns etc, if required), and a dedicated music supervisor to assist you with selection of music and providing tailored licensing for your project. Perfect for Ad campaigns, films, documentaries, streaming VOD shows, trailers etc. All you have to do is select the licence you require and the music you want, and we’ll take care of everything else.
Our 5 Step Licensing Process™
Music brief – A session with a music supervisor to enable them to fully understand your musical, creative and legal needs; The music requirements, genre, demographic, mood, emotion, how music will be used within the project, with musical & visual references and/or as much detail as possible to both conceptualise your project.
Licensing paperwork – To review the licensing paperwork and confirm you will have the license you need; terms of use, territory, specified uses (this can be changed later if you’re need time to change your mind during production phase).
Playlists curation – Your music supervisor will compile playlists for you in response to your music brief, together you will go back and forth until you narrow it down and find the right track, all you have to do is choose the music you want to use. We can help with editing, getting instrumentals, make any changes you need etc,
Track/s Confirmation once you have the track/s you want to use then let the supervisor now, and make any last minute changes if you need, and finally..
Sign the license – The chosen track is added into license, you sign and away you go. You now have the music and rights you require and can publish your project in accordance with the terms you requested of course. The artist is paid and we look forward to seeing your successful project being published.
Our 5 Step Licensing Process™
1. Briefing
A session with a music supervisor to discuss your brief and understand what your musical, creative and legal requirements are; Music requirements such as; genre, demographic, mood, emotion, along with how the music will be used in the project, with any musical & visual references you have
2. Paperwork
To review the first draft of your license to confirm you have the rights you need; I.e terms of use, territory, specified uses (this can be changed later if you change your mind during production phase)
3. Music
Your music supervisor will compile playlists for you in response to your brief, repeating the process until you find your perfect track, all you have to do is choose the music you want to use and you’ll know it when you hear it
4. Remixes
Once we’ve found the right track you may need to add some sound fx’s, editing, or work with the artist/composer to make any edits, alterations, bounces, instrumentals/stems etc, until all audio is finished & signed off
5. Licensing
The track and composers details are added into license, you simply sign and now have the rights you require to publish your project (in accordance with the terms you requested of course) and we look forward to seeing your successful project being published and working again on your next project
